The slope of the mountain where the project was constructed was from 45% to 60%, which required special study. The design and construction problems were solved with specially designed methods.

The remaining equipment such as electrical panels, the substation, AC & DC cabling, lightning protection and grounding were obtained from the Greek market.

PROJECT COMPLETION: 30/JULY/2012

Total planning, engineering, procurement and construction of the PV development were provided by Orion PV EPC Contractor, located in Athens, Greece. The overall delivery of this project as well as its operation has been certified as per ISO 9001:2008 by TUV CERT, the certification authority of TUV Industrie Service GmbH TUV Rheinland Group.

Maintenance and Operations:

The PV operation and maintenance of the solar power plants, after their commissioning, not only for the proper maintenance, but also for best operation and maximum efficiency, have been outsourced to Orion Construction Company

 

The PV plant is monitored on a daily basis from Orion's remote Control Center resulting to immediate identification and resolution of any problem.

Simultaneously we also have independent remote access and validation of the plants proper operations, system's health status and remote energy production indicators as well as security camera direct picture coverage from our home office location.
